Cancer Information and Support

Breast Cancer Support

Eau Claire Partner’s Breast Cancer Information and Support Group
This group offers regular, free, open lectures to the public. Programs are designed for women who have had breast cancer, their families and friends, or for anyone with an interest in breast cancer. The group features speakers from a variety of disciplines providing women with support, information and resources.


Patient Resource Room & Library

An in-depth collection of books, tapes and pamphlets filled with helpful information and resources are available for you and your family. A user-friendly computer is also available for your use. The computer is marked with Web sites for national agencies that provide support services, resources and information on all types of cancers and blood disorders. The library is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm.

Home Health and Hospice

Home Health
HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital's experienced team of home health care providers offer skilled nursing coupled with the latest technologies to help patients and their families manage their medical situation in the comfort of their own home.

Hospice
Under a physician's direction, hospice manages both pain and other symptoms to enable the patient to live as fully and comfortably as possible. Hospice services include registered nurses, social workers, certified nursing assistants, chaplain, trained volunteers, and bereavement staff. Complimentary therapies such as massage are also available.
