Our skilled physicians, therapists and nurses are committed to getting you back into your life after an injury or disease as quickly and independently as possible. We believe in treating the whole person—addressing the physical, communication, psychosocial and spiritual needs of each individual and offering the support and services needed to attain a maximum level of independence.

 

We are one of the most reputable providers of skilled inpatient and outpatient therapy services in the region. Some of the advantages of our inpatient care include:

  • Patients, therapists, nurses and physicians are all located on the same floor, which promotes frequent face-to-face communication.
  • Our rehabilitation teams meet daily to discuss the individual needs of patients.
  • A full range of hospital services such as trauma care, radiology, laboratory and electrodiagnostics are available on the premises.
  • Our therapist and nurse to patient ratio is very high.
  • We offer a comprehensive community reintegration program, led by our therapeutic recreation specialists.
  • Our L.E. Phillips Physical Rehabilitation Center is the only CARF-Accredited inpatient rehabilitation program in western Wisconsin.

 

Physical Therapy

The skilled physical therapists in our L.E. Phillips Physical Rehabilitation Center provide comprehensive care to help you get back to full strength and movement after an illness or injury. Treatment is delivered using the most technologically advanced physical agents and techniques. Therapy can occur as an inpatient at your bedside or as an inpatient or outpatient at the rehabilitation center.

Occupational Therapy

Our expert occupational therapists work with you to achieve a maximum level of independence in activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, grooming, eating, driving readiness, and home management tasks. The goal of each treatment is to increase independence. Your therapy can occur as an inpatient at your bedside or as an inpatient or outpatient in our occupational therapy clinic area or during community outings.

Speech Language Pathology

Our speech therapists work with you to address communications disorders, as well as problems with swallowing and thinking skills. Treatment is delivered using the most technologically advanced agents and techniques. Therapy can occur as an inpatient at your bedside or as an inpatient or outpatient at the rehabilitation center.

Therapeutic Recreation

Our therapeutic recreation treatment therapists develop individual rehabilitation plans to promote the independent physical, cognitive, emotional and social function of those who have been debilitated as a result of illness or injury.
