Neurosciences Center

Whether you are recovering from neurosurgery, or any medical conditions involving the brain, spinal cord and nervous system, our team of accomplished physicians and highly skilled nurses is dedicated to providing you with the most advanced level of neurological care.

Our multidisciplinary approach includes partnering with our Emergency Medical & Trauma Center and the Center for Imaging . This partnership allows us to use medicine’s most sophisticated neuro-imaging technologies to rapidly evaluate each patient so that we can provide comprehensive care using proven treatment methods. 

Our Center includes a neuro step-down unit where the highest quality specialized neurological care is delivered by our incredible team of registered nurses. Several of our nurses have advance education and are Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurses (CNRN).

We also work closely with our L.E. Phillips Rehabilitation Center to provide specialized neuro-rehabilitation services designed to restore you to maximum function. Scared Heart Hospital’s Primary Stroke Center is also part of our Neuroscience Center.
