Mission Integration engages all of the efforts, processes, programs and relationships of the Hospital that serve to enhance the understanding of and commitment to the mission, tradition and values of the Hospital Sisters.  

How

In our ministry, the colleagues of Sacred Heart Hospital remain ever conscious of the obligation of joining our clinical practices and the sacred mission that has been entrusted into our hands.

In carrying out the art of healing in the fashion envisioned by the Hospital Sisters, we see the critical importance of melding our practices to the mission, vision, and values which have, and continue, to give life to all that we say and do.

Who

Every department and division of Sacred Heart Hospital carries upon its shoulders the task of keeping the legacy of the Hospital Sisters alive in what is an ever-changing and increasingly complex world of contemporary healthcare.

The integration of our mission into every dimension of Sacred Heart’s culture and environment is the shared responsibility of our administrators, Board of Directors, physicians, hospital staff and volunteers.

Why

This task is carried out in a collaborative fashion with the goal being to serve the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our patients and their families.
