Sacred Heart Announces Leaders of the Year for 2010

Eau Claire, Wis., – Sacred Heart Hospital is pleased to announce the hospital’s Leaders of the Year for 2010.

 

Theresa Mackey, Rehab Nursing Director, was recognized for her leadership in the hospital’s physical, occupational and speech therapy rehabilitation departments. She also provided leadership to the hospital’s behavioral health department, and has been the interim Behavioral Health director since February 2009. “Theresa has done a wonderful job with staff and physicians,” said Faye Deich, COO, Sacred Heart Hospital. “She is one of those quiet unsung people that always gets the job done, and she has an incredible commitment to our mission, purpose and values.”  

 

Wade Rudolph, Director of Plant Operations, was recognized for his outstanding leadership in managing the plant operations and maintenance departments at Sacred Heart Hospital. He also led the coordination of the overall life safety program at the hospital. “Wade’s background in safety has been a tremendous asset to his work,” said Deich. “He quietly gets the job done and is reliable and always ready to do what’s needed. Wade has a tremendous focus on patients and their comfort and safety.”

Sacred Heart Hospital’s Leader of the Year awards are given to outstanding hospital leaders who exceed expectations and meet challenges outside of the scope of their daily responsibilities. The hospital began awarding this recognition in 2000; this year marks the 10th year of the award.
