A. Cold symptoms usually come on gradually and can be accompanied by a hacking, productive cough, sneezing, stuffy nose, sore throat and mild tiredness.

Q. How long does the flu usually last?

A. Most flu symptoms gradually improve over two to five days. However, people with the flu often feel run down for a week or more after their symptoms disappear.
