Amy Dwyer, RN, MSN, Chief Nursing Officer![]() Currently Chief Nursing Officer, Amy Dwyer has held numerous positions and responsibilities during her more than 30-year tenure at Sacred Heart Hospital. As CNO, she is responsible for daily acute care inpatient nursing operations and oversees more than 350 staff nurses. Dwyer holds staff accountable for quality care and patient satisfaction on a daily basis.
Dwyer assisted in the development of Shared-Decision Making, a shared-governance model for nurses to successfully advance the professional nursing staff ownership of practice and process at Sacred Heart. Dwyer serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire School of Nursing and has contributed to educational forums that serve 13 Hospital Sister Health System facilities in Wisconsin and Illinois. She has served on the Wisconsin Organization of Nurse Executives for 13 years and was a member of the transition team that brought the Nurse Manager and Nurse Executive group together to create one voice for nursing leadership in Wisconsin. |
