One of our latest additions is the da Vinci^® Surgical System, which essentially creates a robotic miniature extension of a physician's hands to allow surgeons to manipulate tiny, delicate instruments through a small incision with a great degree of accuracy. For patients, these advances result in shorter hospital stays and faster recoveries. In the surgical realm, the da Vinci^® system is a major advance because it means less blood loss, less tissue that needs to heal, greater safety, reduced risk of infection and reduced recovery time.
