What cardiology diagnostic services does Sacred Heart Hospital offer?
We offer a variety of diagnostic testing, including electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, tilt table testing, treadmill stress tests, nuclear stress tests and stress echocardiograms.
What services are provided in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab?
Our cardiac catheterization lab provides diagnostic and interventional treatment 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If blockages are identified during a cardiac catheterization, our team of skilled clinicians will work immediately with the cardiologist to open the artery with balloons and/or stents.
What are some signs of a heart attack?
Signs of a heart attack can include chest pain, pressure, or tightness; jaw pain; arm pain; sweating; lightheadedness; nausea; and/or shortness of breath.
What should I do if I experience signs of a heart attack?
Call 911 and ask to be transported immediately to Sacred Heart Hospital.
What are the signs of a stroke?
Signs of a stroke include sudden face, arm, leg weakness/numbness; sudden confusion; trouble speaking or understanding; sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes; sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination; and/or sudden severe headache with no cause.
What should I do if I experience signs of a stroke?
Call 911 and ask to be transported immediately to Sacred Heart Hospital.
