Welcome to our new patient rooms on 5th and 6th floor, East Wing - designed with you in mind!

^{1. The little things, like big, bright windows that allow for natural light, can make all the difference as you heal.}

^{2. We know how having family nearby can play a vital role in your recovery. That’s why we have special, designated family visiting zones with recliners in each of our new rooms.}

^{3. All of our new patient rooms are private for your comfort. And each room is equipped with a private, handicapped-accessible bathroom and shower. Having your own private room has been shown to promote a sense of well-being, comfort and satisfaction during recovery.}

^{4. We took many factors into account when designing these rooms to help your mind and body rest as you heal. Our rooms are decorated with calming colors and textures found in nature, and incorporate natural wood. Even our ceiling tiles have leaf patterns in them.}

^{5. The doorways to our new rooms have been widened, which improves ease of access and safety for patients using wheelchairs, walkers, crutches and more. The door to your private bathroom is enlarged, as well.}

^{6. We take patient safety seriously. Our new patient beds are located just a few feet from the bathroom, reducing the risk of accidental falls. Ceiling lifts are also structurally embedded into the ceiling of every new room, making it easier and safer to transport patients. And, there is no shower door lip to step over in the bathroom – taking a shower is as simple as pulling the curtain and turning on the water.}

From natural light streaming in from the windows, to direct overhead lighting for exams, to soft lighting for reading pleasure, patients staying in our new rooms have an expanded array of lighting options. And you can control it all with a remote control. Speaking of illumination, automatic night lights also have been installed along the wall to light your way to the bathroom at night.}

^{8. In addition to our central nursing stations, our newly-remodeled units also include satellite nursing stations, bringing our nurses closer to the bedside. Some needed supplies are also stocked directly in the patient’s room, enabling caregivers to spend more time with patients.}

^{9. The new patient rooms include designated areas─such as a patient zone, a caregiver zone and a family/visitor zone.}
